Lauren Conrad covers the 'Glamour' Magazine in May 2012

The Interview with Lauren Conrad :

MTV's golden girl, Lauren Conrad, is all grown up and drama-free. How'd that happen? Hard work, a sense of humor, and a new perspective on everything she went through. Allow her to explain in this excerpt from Kyle Buchanan's cover interview.
Your new book is about a bad girl who loves to cause drama on her reality show. Does any of that draw on your time in Hollywood?
"Yes, definitely. I knew people who called the paparazzi on themselves! Their point of view is “They’re going to photograph me anyway, and this way I get paid half of what they make.” I could never bring myself to do it, but it was kind of fun to write it from that point of view."

Are you able to watch other reality TV, like The Real Housewives or The Bachelor, or do you just complain to your friends, “Look how scripted that is!”

Lauren: "I do! I’m always so bad about continuity errors, or all the little tricks they do; they cut and paste together these voiceovers. But you have to know that these poor editors have to make something out of nothing sometimes, because so much money goes into every shoot."

What’s another trick we might not know about?

Lauren: "During shooting, the producers would send us quick text messages telling us what to talk about. They couldn’t walk through the shot, so they’d just text me, like, “Say something quick about this story line.” That’s why we were always checking our phones!"

You’re awfully considerate when you talk about the crew on these shows.

Lauren: "I was really lucky. You see the crew more than you see your friends and family. One producer, Sophia, is still one of my best friends. I think it’s funny because you’re never supposed to make eye contact with the crew during a shoot. Sometimes you want to turn to a friend and you can’t!"

Did you watch the series finale of The Hills?

Lauren : "I didn’t ever watch it."

Liar!

Lauren: "I swear on my life! I only watched the last minute and a half at the finale party."

People often say that reality stars are famous for doing nothing. Did you feel like you had to prove yourself?

Lauren: "I did, and it was very frustrating because I almost wanted to send critics my weekly schedule and say, “This is my ‘nothing.’ ” I would film all day, and then I had several other businesses on the side: In the last season I was running a clothing line and writing a novel. I work really, really hard."

La Chica Dorada de MTV ; Lauren Conrad, ha madurado y sin drama. ¿Cómo es que eso sucede? El trabajo duro, sentido del humor, y una nueva perspectiva sobre todo

  ¿Hay  alguien  del que se base la Historia?

Lauren: "Sí, definitivamente. Sabía que la gente que se llamaban a sí mismos a los paparazzi! Su punto de vista es" Ellos me van a fotografiar todos modos, y de esta manera puedo obtener media paga de lo que hacen. "Yo nunca me atreví a hacerlo , pero que era una especie de diversión a escribir desde ese punto de vista ".

¿Eres capaz de ver la televisión otra realidad, al igual que las Amas de Casa Real o el bachiller, o sólo se quejan de que sus amigos, "Mira lo que es el guión!"

Lauren:  "Yo hago siempre soy tan malo acerca de los errores de continuidad, o todos los pequeños trucos que hacen;! Que cortar y pegar en conjunto estas voces  pero usted tiene que saber que estos editores pobres tienen que hacer algo de la nada a veces, porque así. cantidad de dinero va en cada sesión ".

¿Cuál es el truco que nunca hayas revelado de THE HILLS ?

Lauren:  "Durante el rodaje, los productores nos enviaba mensajes de texto rápidos que nos dicen de qué hablar. No podían caminar a través de la grabacion , por lo que acababan mandandos  textos:" Di algo rápido sobre esta línea de la historia. "Es por eso que siempre estábamos comprobando nuestros teléfonos! "

Estás muy atento cuando se habla de la tripulación en estos programas."He tenido mucha suerte. Usted ve a la tripulación más de lo que ven tus amigos y familiares. Uno de los productores, Sofía, sigue siendo uno de mis mejores amigos. Creo que es gracioso, porque nunca se supone que haga contacto visual con la tripulación durante un tiroteo. A veces, usted desea dar vuelta a un amigo y no se puede! "
 

¿Viste el final de la serie The Hills?

 Lauren: "Yo nunca he querido verlo".
¡Mentirosa!!!"

Lauren :Juro por mi vida! Yo sólo miraba el último minuto y medio en la fiesta final."
 

La gente suele decir que las estrellas de la realidad son famosos por no hacer nada. ¿Sintió que tenía que probarse a sí mismo?

 
Lauren: "Lo hice, y fue muy frustrante, porque casi me quería enviar a los críticos de mi programa semanal y decir:" Este es mi "yo filmar todo el día, y luego tuve varias otras empresas en el lado 'nada'.: En el la temporada pasada yo estaba corriendo una línea de ropa y de escribir una novela. Yo trabajo muy, muy duro. "
